Healthy Slaw

This is the tastiest mayo free slaw.

Fresh and healthy, goes great with sticky ribs…

Serves 4

  • 1/4 of a full cabbage, I used savoy, shredded as finely as possible.
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 1/2 red onion, finely sliced
  • 1 apple, peeled and grated
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 heap tsp. Dijon mustard
  • Sea salt
  • Mix the cabbage, carrot, onion, and apple in a bowl and mix well. I used my hands.
  • Add the juice of the lemon, the olive oil, mustard, and season well with salt. Mix with your hands well, taste for seasoning and serve.
  • It works well with my sticky ribs.
